I took a respite from painting for the summer.  Started this hummer in early spring and finally finished it today.  I had some issues with finding and perfecting the proper flower for this beauty. 

 This painting was inspired by a lovely friend who lives in FL.  She posts amazing photos often on her daily walks.  I asked her permission to paint the pelican photo.  I do hope I did her photo justice.
